If you are parading or 2nd Lining on any street(s) in New Orleans, you are required to have a police escort, parade permit and pay a City of New Orleans tax.
There are multiple steps to completing this process in advance of your event.
All paperwork must be submitted two weeks prior to the event. We require 20 days prior to be certain everything gets completed, filed properly and completed on time. …if not filed properly, the City of New Orleans will NOT give you a parade permit!
You are welcome to complete this process yourself by contacting New Orleans City Hall or (recommended) let us handle this process for you and confirm your parade permit, police escort and pay the city tax.
